ARCHIE the Dog needs a home
Hi my name is Archie. I am a 8 year old poodle mix who weighs about 20 lbs. I am a great little boy but I need someone with patience and understanding to give me my forever home and I definitely need an all adult home. You see I was found as a stray and taken to a high kill local shelter. Fortunately for me they asked Critter Cavalry to help me. I was a total matted mess when they took me to the vet. I was so patient as they tried to shave about 2 inches of packed fur off my entire body. My feet were so bad they had to sedate me for that. So I hope you understand that because of all of this I now have trust issues and I do not like men at all. I have made great strides in my foster home though and am now ready for my forever home. I have learned that I love to walk and I will walk as far as you want me to. I also like to go for rides and am ready to get in the car as soon as you mention it. I am a super smart boy. I know several commands and have just learned to "high five". I learn things quickly and am learning to adapt to changes. If you are a patient person with an in charge personality who will go slowly with me dog then we should be a good match. I get along well with other dogs but would do better in a home with another younger dog. I am not a cuddly poodle but on my own terms I can be very loving.
